TN Visa Approved for Management Consultant

TN Visa Approved for Management Consultant

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) creates a special economic and trade relationship between the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The TN visa allows citizens of Canada and Mexico to work in the U.S. in a prearranged full-time or part-time job for a U.S. employer. The position being sought must be a profession on the NAFTA list. Our firm prepared a letter for our client’s independent contractor to apply for TN status at the U.S.-Canadian border in the management consultant classification. The employer sponsor is a leading provider of software based regulatory compliance solutions for life sciences organizations. We prepared a detailed employer sponsorship letter that included a thorough explanation of the job duties of the management consultant position; the qualifications of the independent contractor to solve management problems; the skills, experience and education of the independent contractor to be contributed to the employer sponsor; and the nature of the business relationship between the independent contractor and the employer sponsor. Following the interview at the U.S.-Canadian border, our client’s independent contractor was granted TN status as a Management Consult for a period of 3 years.
